The Brown Derby from Ace of Sandwiches in Palo Alto. It has pastrami, bacon, crispy hash browns, fried egg, coleslaw, Swiss cheese and a spicy, creamy sauce on the best dutch crunch I've ever had.
Little Lucca FTW....one in SSF and Burlingame

I am still trying to find a sandwich close to this level in the Bay
Pretty much anything from Companos, the rare chance that I stop by there. It's in Monterey so if you are visiting you should stop by, its worth it. And they have the best Reese's Chocolate Cake.
Pretty much anything from Deli Board @ Russ and Folsom in SF. I can't remember the name of the last sandwich I had there but it blew my face off like everything else I have had there. Usually I get the Zeke, but everything is awesome. I think they cure their own meats and such as well.
Some great stuff in here BTW, definitely taking notes.
