Anyone want a nice twin scroll setup?
I am looking for people with following cars that want to do twin scroll setups on their WRX's and STi's...
02-05 2.0L WRX 06 2.5L WRX 04+ STi You will get a nice high quality twin scroll setup at a very good price. You will get the following high quality parts: Tubular SS twin scroll exhaust manifold Tubular SS twin scroll uppipe Tubular 3" SS twin scroll downpipe Twin Scroll IHI turbo (have few options depending on the car) Non STi cars will also get OEM twin scroll oil pan, strainer and baffle. The cars have to be stock or close to it in terms of power mods. I will get the car tuned before and after. ECUTEK license is a plus if you have it. If not, you will need to get it. You will receive free install and will have to cover the cost of parts and tuning. PM me if interested... |

No. All aftermarket parts. No stock parts here. For turbo's like I said, I have few options. No exact price yet, but it will start at around $2,000 (first 3 people will get a super special deal) Up, down, manifold, turbo and all the hardware. Not cheapassdontfitandfalloffafterayear parts either. ;) You know I would not post something cheesy for you guys. ;) |

does this price include injectors and fuel pump? Also, does this price include tuning or is that separate? Sorry for the n00b questions, but are the Tubular components jdm parts? If so, I'm guessing a usdm catback will not fit the downpipe? |
How bout for an FXT? Mines still stock engine wise and its a 5spd.

The main reason for doing this is to isolate the pulses coming from each exhaust port and maintain more of the pulse energy from each cylinder all the way down to the turbine wheel. There are no differences between the turbine wheels used in open or single inlet turbines compared to those used in twin or divided inlet turbines. Generally speaking, a divided inlet turbine setup will respond faster and produce boost quicker than single or open design of the same nozzle area, of course this is dependent upon proper execution. The simple fact that a divided housing is used does not guarantee these results. While it does not cause any problems or harm to run a divided inlet turbine housing on a manifold that is an "open" design, none of the benefits of the twin inlet will be seen. |
