Anyone interested in getting together for a Bay Area photoshoot?
Update:
The date is March 6, 2010
we will meet up at this spot.
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&sour...04823&t=h&z=18
- Time: 2pm 3/06/10
- A possible Pho` run afterward
Guidelines:
- Heavy modifications aren't essential
- Subies of all shapes, sizes and models are welcome
- Don't drive like a tool and use common sense
Hey guys, I picked up a Canon 7D some time ago and I really haven't had the time to enjoy the camera. I'm just posting to see if anyone would be interested in a photoshoot meet somewhere in the East Bay/SF area.
I'm shooting with a Canon 7D with a Sigma 17-70 F2.8 lens.

Sounds cool to me, have wanted to do something like this for a while. Only problem is I am a sucky photographer.
I would be using my 20D and 17-40L unless I rent something for the occasion (would be a 70-200 2.8 and a tripod most likely).

I don't have anything pinned down yet, but we could coordinate and set something up...
I think itd be awesome to have several people shooting, just to see what we can do with different gear, skillsets, etc.
Alameda NAS comes to mind as a good shooting spot because it has low traffic and it's relatively open.

Based on the responses, it would likely be Sat. March 6 in Alameda?
I don't know if we have any pro-photographers, just serious enthusiasts with nice cameras and quality glass!!

They don't all need to be clean, but if you're going to shoot HDR they'd better be

I'm down for the photo op. Coastie1983 is interested as well. Let's get this thing rolling and set up a time. Also, whereabouts on the island would the shoot take place? The old air station?
Edit: I forgot to mention that I know a couple of Suby owners not on i-club that would probably be interested in going.
