Anyone in the eastbay willing to wire up my supertones for me...
hey guys i got the supertones and i also ordered the install kit from safedrives and i have some 16 gauge speaker wire and some terminal things and was wondering if anyone wanted to help me out with the install. i can compensate with some beer or lunch
let me know i already have them mounted just gotta get them wired up.
oh and if you could help me figure out what's wrong with my retrofit headlight wiring thatd be cool too!

just take the wire coming into the OEM horn. that's a triggered +12v, IIRC. the horn itself it grounded to the metal around it.
so take that wire, extend if needed, then connect that the one side of the coil of the relay. other side of the coil goes to ground.
so when you hit the horn button, a circuit is completed, energizing the coil and magnetizing it. it then pulls the pole on the relay completing the secondary circuit that you wired the horn's compressor.
whammo jammo... install completed.

i think i gave up on my "wiring harness" what's the easiest way to hook these up with out my car blowing up.
i have 3 butt connectors 4 female spade terminals 5 male spade terminals, fuse wire thing, the horn relay and 16 gauge speaker wire

You shouldn't need the butt connectors except for attaching the stock horn's wire to the new one.
You also shouldn't need the spades unless you want quick release Supertones
You should get some wire taps and a "circle ended wire thing" (I forget what it's called) so you can ground using a bolt off of a metal bracket.
Just follow the diagram.
