It's interesting, but not practical yet, what controls the tiny piston...how long can it survive, what kind of climate can it endure? Does it eat? Whom?
They mention above possible uses, such as an impact vest...think about the size of that thing, how long do you think the life cycle of something that small is? How do you align all of the pistons or larger elements so they are facing the same direction?
It's not commercial and I don't think it will be for a very long time.
