Angel Island is on fire

damn that sucks, i remember going there for field trips when i was in middle school

I was out on treasure island a little earlier watching the blue angels, crazy how fast those fires grow

I was taking some photos at a BMX contest on the back of the island and as soon as I heard the first fly by I rushed on over to the SF side

Angel island is about a mile out from treasure island, just saying it was crazy looking at it all day and now it's burnt to a crisp

I was wondering what that was back there. Me and my fiance were on the west side of the island, right at the gate near the path. Perfect spot for said flyovers, especially since it was her first time seeing the Blue Angels. after the first flyover scared the **** out of her ( since i didnt warn her ;) ) she was hooked. now i have to go to travis for their next air show, thats how hooked she is :D

haha, yeah I haven't watched them in about 6 or 7 years ago, It was definitely a nice unexpected treat!

And BTW, check out my post I have photos of the fire last night at 3 am
