Well, it's official, and this has been discussed in the moderator forum briefly before this thread, but Alex aka "Imprezer", the founder of i-club and the US Subaru community (He started everything minus the STi M-List) in general has left us for personal reasons... He has officially moved back to Moscow forever.
without him I wouldn't have met some of the greatest people I've ever had the privledge of meeting... He made it possible for us to do all that we have been able to do, and without him NASIOC wouldn't exist.
Alex made a decision to move back to his home country and is now living is Moscow with his family and friends... I won't go into details as to why he moved back, but I will say that he will be dearly missed and I'm sad things didn't work out in the United States like he wanted them to (nothing to do with the new admins here on the site) and I don't blame him for wanting to go back to his family and friends. I think we all owe him a thanks for all he has done for us and for all that he created. The difference between Alex and other message board owners is that Alex wasn't doing it for money, he originally did it because he was an enthusiast and wanted a community of subaru fanatics, and well, he did just that and I am thankful for his contribution to our little world.
So here's a great thank you to Alex for all that he has done, and I hope he knows that he will be missed by all of his friends back in the states.
Take care of yourself Alex.
