2011+ wrx/sti sedan Cobb catback

Anyone have the cobb catback on their 2011+ wrx or sti sedan? Looking to hear it in person.

Just bit the bullet and ordered it. Once I get it installed I'll let you know how it is.

I will have a week old greddy evo 3 catback for sale shortly.

Also very interested in hearing how it sounds -- especially any drone or lack of at freeway speeds.

You also had a Q300 previously, right?

Yeah had the Q300 and then went equal length headers, thought it was a bit quiet but had no drone. Swapped to the greddy evo 3 this past weekend and it's louder than I thought and drones a bit. Hopefully the cobb works out.

Haha you're going through so many exhausts. Hopefully the Cobb works out. I have the P&L and it's crazy deep and loud with no drone.

Yeah, it's a bit crazy greddy sounds good but just a bit too loud for my taste. Really hope i'm not trying all these exhausts to end up back with the Q300 again.

Really? I heard the Q300 drones badly over 75mph which is a main reason I steered clar

I think it drones on the hatchbacks, on the sedan you could barely hear the exhaust.

I have Q300 on my hatch I don't hear any drone. Not even over 75mph. I start to slightly hear it when I'm going maybe 75+ but between 65-75mph, I hear nothing.

Interesting, may have to revisit.

I want to have a full 3 inch with no taper, which is why I am hesitant with the Cobb. Still thinking about the Perrin cbe

Edit: I may need to check your car out mikhoe

Lies!

The sedan has two mufflers so it their Q300 doesn't drone and is a bit on the softer side of the noise makers.

The hatch utilizes a suitcase style muffler, we only have one so that's where the drone comes from. It's horrible above 75+ and maybe I was being a baby but constant bahhhhhhhhhhh at 65-70 annoyed me.
