6 g's seems a little steep. You can get a 2JZ shipped from japan for around $4000. I have wanted to drop a 2JZ in a S14 Nissan 240 for a while. :)

Just think about it.. I'll low ball the prices..

$3000-$3500 for Long Block
$1000-$1500 for Install
FMIC - $500-$800
Fuel Pump/Type-S/Bride eats ect... $1000-$1500
Rear Disc conversion/Tranny/Rear Diff $1000-$1500
and thats not including the car/wheels/paint/suspension,etc...

so asking price for $6000 is about fair... and thats why i have OBO or trade... :)

Ehy... Ive got the 7m-GTE in the 4runner, Its more than plenty of motor. Never understood why folks want to pour the 1JZ/2JZ into things, its almost overkill in many cars.

What do you do about smog? That's probably the biggest turn-off for your average Joe.

THats the big one right there, it took me 3 years to get the 4runner past the ref, no way in hell that one is going to make it.

There is also a reason all my old (but not old enough) Toy's get shipped to Hawaii for a sale... My last car, '80 Celica coupe, sold for $4500. That would have been a $1500 car here MAX. So eating the $800 shipping charge is nothing.

This car would have been a super star at the Hilo NHRA track. :)

When a serious buyer steps up, I will talk to that person about smog. Its easy when you have connections... :noidea:

yeah wow, getting anything at all over 50% is usually a minor miracle on NP/CP, theres alot of haters on there, so consider that a small victory ;)
