vf34 vs 18g

What's the better turbo all-round for a daily driver? What rpm does each spool at (with or without the supporting mods but be specific)? Any downsides/annoying lag...etc.? I'm guessing that the 18g is more powerful. Anyone?

the best daily driver would have to be the 34... 18g is a big turbo and spools later than the 34. you would be making a lot more power with the 18g than the vf-34. You could always buy an 18g and then have deadbolt (www.deadboltspeed.com) monster port the turbo to make it spool a little quicker.

just tuned my wagon yesterday (been running wastegate pressure for a month), so don't have too much seat time with it. went from a VF30/STi pinks to an 18g/UR785's. EM is a Cobb AccessPORT and now with the StreetTUNER. the 18g spools very similar to the VF30, but has ALOT more boost available. at the same point that i hit 16psi on the VF30, i can hit +18psi on the 18g.
