VF34 top power.

hi,
whats the top power a WRX can get with VF34 turbo?
thanks.

blue blurr 08-11-2005 04:15 PM

The normal power a vf34 usually gets is around 270whp, depending on other mods. With race gas you could probably get around 300whp.

thanks.
i have another one :)
what's the boost level the turbo uses to get 270whp?
and in which RPM it kicks in?

thanks agian...

blue blurr 08-11-2005 05:42 PM

Not really sure what boost levels, maybe 18-21? And i think it spools at like 3400

You can always send your 34 to deadbolt and have them tweak it a little and get 300 whp( with supporting mods) easy.

blue blurr 08-12-2005 09:45 AM

what do they do? I always thought they just port and polished it.

i believe its 18 psi. It has great spool time. It lags a little more then stock. It's an awesome turbo.

Deadbolt can do wheel upgrades, wheel clips, port polish, ceramic coating on both sides. You can do a lot with vf 34's.

with my 34, im at 17 pounds of boost and it kicks in at 3100 rpm *port and polished*

How much does deadbolt charge with a fully worked vf34? and when does it reach full boost?

namitherussian 08-14-2005 06:06 AM

I had mine port and polish, ceramic coat on the intake and black xtreme coat on the exhaust side, came out to be $320 I think with shipping. I cant wait to have my car dyno tuned, currently i am running cobb 2.5 map and cobb said the ECU wouldnt learn the mods done to it, unless i have the car dyno tuned, just have to wait for the FMIC before i do it.

lovesmysuby04 08-14-2005 08:30 AM

Why are you going run a fmic on a 34?

namitherussian 08-14-2005 12:03 PM

to get more power vs a TMIC, all the tuners i talked to say i will get more out of a fmic

blue blurr 08-21-2005 08:12 PM

It depends on the FMIC you buy, some are to big (like perrin) and they really are not needed for a vf34.

soccrstar 08-22-2005 08:41 AM

dont mean to be such a n00bster but what does FMIC/TMIC mean?
