Turbo Upgrade (4EAT wrx)

'04 WRX 4eat

Current setup:

- Helix u/p with catted d/p
- greddy evo2 exhaust
- Cobb AP with Gruppe S tuned map
- Gruppe S Manifold (not installed yet)

I want to upgrade the turbo setup. I was thinking of the VF34 Package with STI 565cc Injectors, and Walpro fuel pump from gruppe s (with either the perrin or helix TMIC). I kept reading the other postings and i see most people that upgrade to the vf34 quickly upgrade higher after that. I dont feel like putting $$$ into the vf34 package if i'm gonna get tired of it quick.

I'm not racing the car but i would like to get the most out of my subie. Im not looking to do internal engine work either (slight tranny mods if necessary).

Would i be able to use the Forced Performance TD06 20G turbo with an upgraded TMIC and STI 565cc Injectors, and Walpro fuel pump?

(If this turbo wouldnt be right, which would be next bump up from the VF34 using a TMIC?; im hoping to hit around 300hp no more)

Thanks.

well i am selling a FP Green, with only about 500miles on it, it is about half a inch bigger than the normal sti turbo and will make alot more power. also it will be just a bolt on job....but i would still get tuned afterwards just to be safe about it, you will probably need injectors the 565cc but i pretty sure you will not have to have them for the turbo you just make as much whp as u would with out them, selling it for about $1,000 but i will go lower if i have to, and i am just trying to get rid of it so i can buy i bigger one for my STI. Any other question just right me back....

I think the VF34 would be a good match for the 4eat. ( power wise) You said your self it's not gonna be a race car, so why bother with anything bigger.
