STI Turbo on a 99-01 RS

Alright guys, I don't have a car yet, but my plan is to buy a 99-01 RS sometime during the summer. I am just trying the get an idea of what I want to do. But I have a question about a turbo.

My friend has an STI and is putting a new turbo on his car, he told me that I could get his stick turbo for cheap, my question is, is it possible to throw the STI turbo on an RS? I would plan on buying an STI topmount for it also.

Or is there a way to get an EJ20 without a turbo and than throw the STI turbo on that?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Dude man...

you need to do research on your own.

Just remember: Speed costs money son. How fast do you want to go?

swap my man,swap.
most of the time turbo on a stosk rs=boom-pop-dribble.
swap is your safest bet.

Spo Motorsports, AVO turbo kit for 2.5 RS. I have one myself, installed myself. Works fine. Just replace stock clutch. 100 hp gain at 6 psi. Less work than ej20 swap.
