N/A Impreza RS vs RX + Turbo vs SuperCharged

Hey guys

So I've been doing a tonne of research on both the Rs and Rx as well whether I should super charge or turbo charge. However, all I ended up with was a headache :mad2:

Basically I'm trying to build a street racer, where high acc. is important and not so much max speed (within reason).

I'm thinking a model between MY03-MY05, which means I'll be working with the EJ20-EJ25, although I am still indecisive on which model would perform better, which is why I have a few questions for you guys :eyebrows:

1) To Turbocharge or to supercharge:
There are two main options I've seen in the SC range; Raptor and Rotrex
Raptor Superchargers
Bullet Cars - 2000 ? 2007 SOHC 2.0 litre Flat 4 cylinder Subaru Impreza Supercharger Kit Supercharged Subaru
The Rotrex boasts that the C30-74 produces more than 70% gain and over 100% gains with the fitment of a good exhaust system with extractors.

Then there is a larger range when it comes to turbochargers
As I mentioned before I am looking for performance, not cost, ease to install, etc. but which direction should I be heading for max performance in terms of quick acc.

2) Which would be quicker a custom turbocharged RX or a turbocharged RS.
I know the RS series run a 2.5 while the RX run a 2.0, but once modded which will run quicker in terms of max boost, weight, torque and hp. It seems there's a reason why the RX can come turbocharged as stock (WRX) and maybe the same reason it's used in rallying...

But I just wanted to hear some different oppinions :) Thanks guys

ej25 with a small sized turbo, tmic, anti-lag

plenty of torque over 300 easily on a stock vf39
