Difference between GT30R and GT3071R

according to the atp turbo site, the "newest GT turbo" GT3071R is more responsive than the GT30R turbo. can anyone give me more detail as to why the GT3071R would be a faster spooling turbo than the GT30R?

I can help a little

it spools slightly faster than a 30r, it doent flow as much on the top though.

I made 340hp on pump gas on a stock usdm 2.0liter 404hp on race gas with the 3071R.

Its a pretty sick turbo.

wow! impressive. what dyno did you use to measure this and what kit are you running?

i think he meant that he has a complete stock motor, no piston upgrades, or connecting rods or stuff like that. i am interested in seeing when that turbo spools tho on that motor. hopefully, dyno charts will get posted sometime soon.
