Can you Convert an internally gated FPGreen to External????

I'm about to buy a used internally gated fpgreen but it is internally gated. I wanted to get an externallty gated green but im getting it at a good price. Is there any way to make it externally gated?

Yes, weld the wastegate shut and add an external wastegate onto the uppipe (weld)
