I know some of you have to be back by now, I had to bail half way down

At least I had a good run down with James(Long Travel WRX) we took 101 down to the 25 (http://www.pashnit.com/roads/cal/Highway25.htm) then Peach Tree (http://www.pashnit.com/roads/cal/IndianValley.htm) I would highly recomend this route to anyone that wants to head south, it really doest add too much time and its def worth it

hey I saw you on Friday night heading the other direction on the 5! You were about to head into one of the craziest thunderstorms Ive ever driven through, cars were spinning off the 5 left and right!

Yea that stuff was fine, it was the 138 with the flooded dips that we hit at 70mph with the trailor and hydra-planed all the time with Dre shouting put your foot down *****!

For my return trip I took Frazier Park road to 166/33 then went out Soda Lake road through the Carrizo plain to 58, over towards Santa Margerita turning off to sample the delights of CA 229- which truely is one of the funnest roads I've ever driven.
Then from Paso Robles I just cruised up 101, but something is terribly wrong with my car, I was afraid I might not make it home!

I can't tell for sure other than a P0340 CEL and intermittent sounds as if the bearings on the water pump or alternator have been replaced with chuncks of rock- oh and the hesitation and shuddering when the engine hits about 3800 RPM under load, it revs OK in neutral, but something is definetly messed up.....

Yeah Amy and Claire did pretty awesome on the Powerline yump too-

this is the last picture of her car with the cat-back on- the entire exhaust system got left by the side of the road right there after it broke off when they landed
