What do you guys think about the Epson 1280 Printer?

what are you going to use it for?
If you want to print photos, get a canon, they are top notch. Plus, with canon they have 3 color catridges so if one of them runs out you just replace that one color instead of all of them.
I have the canon i860 and love it, the photos I can print from it look the same as from ritz/wolf camera. Only difference is paper.
I paid $80 for mine while it was on sale at fry's. Soooooo worth it!
Also, mine has 2 black catridges, one big *** one for documents, and one for photo and color printing.

I HATE epson printers with a passion! I actually just smashed one about 2 weeks ago at work because it just stopped printing.....even with new cartridges....just wouldnt print....so I went "Office Space" style on it and smashed the crap out of it......oh man that felt great too! We bought a canon to replace it...
Also, what mcdrama said....Canon printers (esp. for photos) are top of the line....hands down....my dad has the 9900I canon photo printer ($400-$500), it has 6 (I think) color cartridges for true photographic color printing quality, can print up to 13"x19" full color photos!
