Pros:

Quicker in to boost, great throttle response
Cons:
None (yet)

I picked this up in the hopes of freeing up intake and exhaust as much as possible while keeping factory noise levels and visuals. In conjunction with my uppipe, 3CE, underdrive pulley, and intercooler hoses...I am almost immediately boosting when I hit the gas. Throttle response is much improved. I haven\'t tried this with a stock setup, so your experience may vary.
On the noise side, it really isn\'t any louder than with the stock silencer in place. The main difference is that turbo spool is a little bit more enhanced, but with the engine revving it can easilly drown out the stock turbo. But it does amplify the turbo spool sound a bit more (if you like that sort of thing). Lately coming off the throttle after hard spooling, I\'ve even heard the factory bypass (blowoff) valve whoosh.
Overall, I am happy with the results. $40 well spent.

The fit was nice and installed easily...you could hack up your old silencer and patch it up or buy this product...I did the latter and am very happy...
I even use this with my AVO short ram...routes cold air in (as cold as it can get in Hawaii I guess)...heh heh

My first mod was one of these. Instals will vary but this is a good product. Clean smooth plastic compared to the stock box. Don\'t know what Subaru was thinking on that thing.

love that sound
Cons:

no instructions, thought it would be a little louder

It did exactly what i thought it would. You can hear the stock bypass now but its not loud. I felt a slight increase in throttle response. For $40 its pretty sweet. Install was fairly easy too.

Humm I got bored and decided what else to get for my suby, so i cruised around and found the elbow delete and ordered it. The install on it was simple and you could kinda hear the turbo and the stock bpv more when the windows are up, it doesnt really do anything but make noise. Im using it w/ my K&N filter and it sounds pretty cool. Other than that its not much different from stock.

Pros:

Gets rid of unsightly growth on oem piece
Cons:
Not really any performance benefits, kinda pricey for a useless piece

Not very impressed, it was an impulse buy for me and I didn't expect to get much out of it. Some say that it increases the sound of the bov, but I found it made it sound quieter? I don't quite get why somebody found it necessary to manufacture this piece, but I'm sure it flows somewhat better than stock so I can see the idea behind it somewhat.

At WOT you can hear a low, buzzing sound.
Cons:
Pain in the ass to install
I have a K&N filter as well, so I'm not sure if the whooshing sound I hear when letting off on the throttle after WOT is due to the filter or to the elbow intake delete. The install took quite some effort since I had to jack up the car and peel back the fender well liner.
Rainy season has not yet started, so I don't know if rain water sucked into the ram air scoop will go into the air intake or if it will escape at the bottom of the air chamber, now that there is no more snorkus.
