Description: The Blitz NUR - Spec Series exhaust systems are available as direct bolt-on replacements for OEM exhaust systems. Our exhaust reduces backpressure and thermal stress. This allows the engine to create more power and torque by breathing easier. By utilizing extensive computer controlled design, flow analysis, Dyno testing, and precise fitment Blitz exhaust systems produce maximum horsepower without dramatically reducing low-end torque.
Blitz NUR Spec R, which is a cat back system. The NUR - Spec R system comes in two parts. This version also has a removable silencer for road / track use. Because the full system removes the silencer, it produces a fairly loud, deep sporty note.

The quality of the Blitz stainless steel exhausts is second to none. Rated as the highest quality, our exhausts perform as well as they look. Unlike conventional exhaust systems, Blitz exhausts utilize a slanted mounting design, which eliminates unnecessary bends. The specially designed muffler and large diameter mandrel bent piping has no reduction of inner diameter in bend areas. The constant piping diameter size allows for superior exhaust flow superior then compared to crush bent piping. The most impressive feature of our exhaust system is the quiet tone with the silencer on, and its aggressive tone with the silencer removed. Performance increases very by application (gains of 5 - 20 horsepower are average). Blitz exhaust systems are designed for maximum performance, improved appearance, and an aggressive tone.

Each Blitz NUR Spec R exhaust is flanged and comes complete with all gaskets and hardware. Providing the easiest bolt-on installation possible. All Blitz NUR Spec R exhaust systems utilize factory mounting points and hangar locations. A fine balance of looks, power, and durability has been achieved through full stainless steel construction finished in a show quality shine.

Pros: AWSOME construction, removable baffle
Cons: Loud! (is that a con?)

Fitment was good, construction was excellent. It comes with a removable baffle that quites down the exhaust quite a bit. When removed, it's loud! I ended up having a flex section installed after putting in a invidia DP as both are ridgid

Pros: Fitment to Stock Third Cat
Cons: none

This is an incredible sounding exhaust with or without the silencer. Nice low tone that really lets the flat-4 rumble.

Best of both worlds...
Leave the silencer in when you feel mellow (significantly louder than stock but not harsh at all) -- take it out when you want to scare pedestrians, animals, ricers - it is loud!

Pros: Perfect Fit. Does not hang low. Looks damn good.
Cons: Tip is a little big.

This exhaust looks really pretty. It tucks under the car nicely and doesn't hang low, like some other exhausts. I noticed some HP gains. It's got a deep aggressive tone. Like a V8 (thanks to the boxer). I ALWAYS get compliments. If you want quiet,...put the silencer in, it's like night and day.

Pros: Huge. Noticable difference, and looks nice. And the baffle comes in handy.
Cons: Small burn on the bumber.

This exhaust is what it's all about.

Pros: sounds muscular around town; top end rocks!
Cons: very loud droning on the freeway

my wrx is "meow"less. first catback i had on was an apexi n1. i didn't think it was loud enough for my taste. searched on the forums for a catback known to be loud. blitz was one of them. got lucky and traded my n1 + 50. not a shabby deal at all. if you want something loud in the city and the hwy. this is the catback for you

Pros: Finish, sound, hp gain
Cons: Rattles agains stock heat shields under car/silencer rattles

This thing is big time loud if you have no cats. Put the silencer in and it is like night and day. The silencer rattles, so I keep a small washer to put in between the muffler and the silencer and it stops the rattles. It sounds really mean. I get lots of compliments on the sound, some even asking if I put a V8 in the car. I would get new exhaust hangers with this because it rubbed the stock heat shield at the midpipe/axleback junction. It was solved with new hangers.

Pros: kw gains, sound and easy installation
Cons: silencer rattle

This exhaust has the nices sound you will hear on a REX and true people can hear you coming from a mile away. Noticed abit of kilowatt gains in the mid-range rev and top end.

Pros: fitment & power
Cons: 4\" tip and very loud without silencer

This cat back is extremely loud without the silencer. The silencer rattled when I first put it in but that was easy to fix (just wedge a paperclip in the gap). If I had it to do again I would have bought a Borla hush or something more quiet but if you are not concerned with the noise and you dont mind the 4\" tip I would say this is the cat back for you.

Pros: SUPER DUPER
Cons: Little on the heavy side

this thing is damn sweet

sounds mean and surly all the time, especially at WOT, i turn heads all the time

i set off car alarms, and im also running catless. people often compliment me and as long as i keep the rpm\'s down i don\'t attract the 50

Pros: Good fitment, flush to undercarriage, deep V8 sounding
Cons: 4 inch tip, loud (But you buy it for this anyway)

Construction is good overall. Fitment is quite nice as it doesn\'t protrude anywhere excessively. Stock hangers work fine with it. Sounds great, get lots of looks from people (good and bad *HAH*) and is nice and deep sounding.

It is quite loud, but does come with a silencer that tones it down almost to stock. The tip is kind of large, but it does fit into the stock notching well and doesn\'t protrude out the back of the car. When I\'m near cops I have to keep revs down below 2k.
