First version of the downpipe where the wastegate tube goes into the hi-flow catalytic converter, whereas the V2 DP bi-passes the cat altogether and meets down by the 3rd cat flange. I believe the first pic might be a protoype or early production piece as the other pics don't have the cat heatshield and are smooth.
Now discontinued for the newer version 2 downpipe. No longer available.

That (the first photo) is photo of a prototype of the V1 MadDad Metal. The final release
has a metal substrate cat in place of the ceramic one which is shown in that photo. The metal substrate is smaller and uses a native stainless steel shell so it doesn't have the same heatshield. The recent V2 version has the wastegate tube merging back in after the cat and so is semi-catless. If you have a WRX there is little difference between the V1 and V2. The major difference is really for the STi owner.
