Replaces factory 3rd cat(2nd cat STi) with a 3-inch catless unit. Heatshield helps protect 02 sensor from road debris. Specially designed falnage allows this 3-inch piece to be bolted to factory 2.5-inch DP and intermediate pipe. This pipe uses the same flange style as Stromung's downpipe and makes a fantastic additional to a Stromung DP (but also fits leak free with ScoobySport and Bosal). Two version are available. Original design tapers at the end to allow refitment of the factory donut gasket allow proper fitment of catbacks that require it (Borla, Cobb, Stromung, and many others). 3-inch non donut vs. for catbacks with 3-inch flat flanges meant for crush gaskets.
