Pros: looks waay better than stock, cleaner
Cons: doesn\'t smooth out stock calipers roughness

So I wanted to paint all four stock calipers, but was mixed between the VHT spray paint and G2 brush on epoxy based paint. I chose this because it\'s what my local auto parts store carries (I\'m very impatient when it comes to ordering off the \'net). I believe G2\'s paint would last longer since it has a hardener you mix in, but I tried this for kicks.

After majorly degreasing brake components with acetone and wire brushing them to death, I used 2 cans on all 4 calipers @ 8 bucks a can and then 1 can of high temp header clear coat (good for upto 1500F). I was able to spray all 4 with 4 coats paint and 4 coats clear. All in all, it was a cheap way to make my car look clean (I chose blue on a PSM WRX, I\'m going for subtle), but it did take almost two full days to pull the brakes off, disassemble, paint, drying time, reassembly, and installation. I\'m happy with it, now I\'ll wait and see how long it lasts..
