Description: The Master Cylinder brace is designed to support and stop the brake master cylinder from flexing under hard braking conditions. The Brace is made from a high quality Stainless Steel, and painted a WRB color. The install is quite simple (4 bolts, about 30 minutes) and pretty straight forward. The fitment is perfect, and does not require removing alot of engine parts (Only the Washer reservoir, and fuel filter need to be unmounted, NOT removed.) to install. The quality of the brace is second to none....with Perfect welds, and a "Traditional Subaru color", this part is an excellent upgrade for anyone looking to upgrade their brake system for a more solid and confident Pedal feel as well as increase the braking performance of their cars.

Pros: more solid pedal feel, Brake response increased, simple install
Cons: Took 6 months or more to get one, due to designing, testing, and production of the part.

This was one of the most effective \"budget\" upgrades I have performed on my car. The pedal feels very good, and it was a simple install, although some of the bolts are a little tough to get to, but not impossible. You\'ll need a 10mm Deep socket, and regular socket, 12mm socket, 2\" socket extention (Wobbly end worked nicely), 10mm and 12mm box end wrenches and about 30 minutes to install.

Pros: Easy install...excellent fitment.
Cons: none

Together with my new brake components (Project Mu NS Pads, StopTech SS lines) this just added to the stopping power of my STI...

Pedal travel has been reduced quite a bit from stock...not as much flexing in the brake line and now the limited movement caused by the flexible firewall has been reduced drastically...

Very nice and effective mod.
