Description: The Perrin up-pipe replaces the factory up-pipe which attaches the exhaust manifold to the turbo charger. The original up-pipe includes a small catalytic converter and an Exhaust Gas Temperature sensor. By replacing the factory up-pipe you will prevent possible damage to your turbo charger. The EGT sensor probe or small pieces of the catalytic converter can be ingested by the turbo and destroy the delicate vein structure inside the turbo. The Perrin up-pipe will make your turbo spool up quicker and double your overall flow rate. THIS PIPE FEATURES 321 STAINLESS CONSTRUCTION, 1/2" FLANGES, ALL NEW STUDS, ILLUSTRATED INSTRUCTIONS, AND A NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT GUARANTEE.

Pros: Fit, quality, look, no cat, cel fix
Cons: price

This was one of my 1st performance mods. Decreased spool up time, removed a cat, and fit was good.

Pretty much does what a uppipe should. If you want a no hassel uppipe and don't mind spending a little more for a good quality product, this could be the one for you.

Pros: Excellent construction
Cons: non-flexpipe

Best solid pipe there is... but its still a solid pipe. When I took off the exhaust manifold side of the uppipe to install an EGT probe in the passenger-side exhaust manifold, I did not know that to put it all back together I had to unbolt the turbo from the uppipe and from the downpipe as well as the unbolting I had already done so that I could then retorque it all down properly to avoid leaks. I do most of my car work on the street and don't have the time or place for so much work when its not really necessary... if I just get a flex pipe. Which I did. Undoubtedly the perrin is an excellent pipe, but still, its a solid pipe.

Pros: EXCELLENT FIT , GREAT "BANG FOR THE BUCK"
Cons: HAVNT FOUND ANY

This is a great mod, it really smooths out low end performance and takes away the stumbling, my engine does not detonate at all now and is much faster. You will have to set aside most of the day for the install, its a pita, you will feel as though you have disassembled most of your car, but it is definatly worth it. The car is much more drievable, should have come from the factory like this. when you see inside the stock catted uppipe you will struggle to understand how the engine even runs at all. If you loose or ruin the resistor any 2.2 K ohm .5 watt resistor will work radio shack has them for .99 cents. My car did not throw a CEL but you need it in place to complete the circuit I have been told. have fun

Pros: great fit, adds power, no cel, no leak
Cons: semi difficult install

i put off installing this up pipe for a long time because it seemed like a lot of work. Luckily the instructions are very clear and it was all straight foreward. 4 or so hours later i was done. No leaks, added power, quicker spool, and some skinned knuckels.

great product

Pros: Excellent fitment, increased performance all around
Cons: Install is a pain, but hey, it\'s an uppipe

Top notch. There\'s no EGT bung is my only beef, but since you hafta use a CEL fix resistor it\'s really no big deal anywhatever. Like mmmboost said, though, it\'s still a solid pipe.

Pros: Well made, excellent fitment
Cons:

Very well made up-pipe, installed with no problems. Perrin designed the up-pipe with no egt bung, and includes a resisitor fix with the up-pipe.

Pros: Worked
Cons: Fit

I wouldn\'t buy another Non-Flex up pipe, I had to use a crow bar and extra thick gasket to get this pipe in place and it still leaked a bit when it was cold.

Pros: fit, quailty, and look
Cons:

The perrin upipe does quite a bit to decrease spool up time. The build quality and finish on the product is amazing.

Pros: Great Craftsmanship, Fitment, Increased Performance
Cons: installs a PITA

Took me about 6 hours to get this pipe in. It was all worth it though.

The instructions given by Perrin are very good. I would recommend having a friend or two help you with this install (makes things a lot easier). CEL fix worked too.

Performance wise...my car now pulls at WOT on my friend's stock WRX...noticably on the highway.

This is absolutely worth the time to install.

Pros: Great flow and even better craftsmanship
Cons: price, it's expensive for a well made pipe

Would recomend this to anyone that could swing the coin for it. Is it worth the price? Probably not although I havent had a cheaper up pipe to compare it to. But I would hope there is a better bang for the buck and if there is let me know!
