Alloy Atmospheric Ram Dump Valve available to fit the Impreza 2001
Made from billet aluminium, this atmospheric diverter valve dumps the charge-air to atmosphere creating the "Whoosh" sound most commonly associated with rally cars when the throttle is lifted. This increases both quicker throttle response and higher clamping load to maintain boost pressure more reliably.
Unlike the Diaphragms valves this uses a single piston single spring to prevent the valve from leaking air into the intake system at idle. This prevents our diverter valves suffering any of the failures associated with single piston and diaphragm type diverter valves.

Pros:
Easy to install & Clean, reliable design and sounds more like a rally car.
Cons:
Too quiet for some
This is a good CHEAP BOV but it isn\'t a crappy one like some others.
Forge Motorsports is a well known company in racing and has a lot of experience.
The reason it is cheap is because it is a SIMPLE and RELIABLE design. No double piston craziness.
I came from an HKS SSQV and got sick of the sound it made. This one sounds like a real BOV should.

Easy to maintain

won\'t work with large FMIC
I had this one since I bought my STI in 2004. Worked like a charm and easy to clean.
However when switching to a large Front mounted intercooler the valve was clearly not able to blow off the ammount of air with compressorsurge as result.
Recommended for tmic only!
