Pros: Loud, minimal backpressure.
Cons: Will not pass emissions. Will throw CEL. Made my Cruise flash.

Install wasn\'t hard and definitely wasnt easy at times, but overall (even though it is very time consuming) I recommend this exhaust. I noticed shifts were really smooth and there is hardly any turbo lag. Also will backfire a flame, can be good or bad I suppose.

Pros: Excellent construction/design/sound
Cons: none

Thanks to Juniorsti for coming over last night and helping me wrench, and to Tiare and Caterpil for offering help...this was definitely a two person install...due to the size and weight of the unit...

The APS is finally installed...this thing is huge...

Out of the 3 previous dp/header installs that I have participated in...this is the first time that the intercooler was removed to facilitate the installation (I don\'t think re-installing the intercooler was very fun at all!!!)...

The cast iron elbow unit that fits on the turbo is very large...it made for tightening the nuts and bolts rather tough...all the piping fit perfectly and tucked up nicely into the subframe area...Once the dp was installed...the rest was straightforward...the intercooler was a bit of a pain to re-install...

The canister portion is polished and very large...I would say as big as the HKS Carbon Ti...quality is superb...I used the stock hangers...length was good but because I have swapped out so many exhausts on my car...they are becoming flimsy...I had a set of Kartboy extended length hangers...so I am using those temporarily until I can get some standard sized urethane hangers...by the way, the tip does not get very hot...which was surprising...

My overall impression is that APS makes awesome products...I now have 2 of their products on my car...both of which have incredible quality and fit...

1. APS Dual Vent Bov
2. APS 3.5\" Race TBE...

Sound Impression:
It\'s pretty loud...I thought it was going to be fairly quiet initially but that was before I reflashed the cpu with my Cobb AP. It usually takes a day or two for it to re-learn...it\'s learning fast...I have not run it with the silencer yet, but I may have to...It sounds extremely mean...loud in a good way, not annoying at all...it\'s just that I find myself taking it real easy on the throttle around quiet areas like my neighborhood...

When I get on this thing...it is awesome! The turbo spools up very quickly and smoothly...I attribute this to the cast iron elbow...This piece was constructed very nicely, smooth, ported, and with a wastegate separator...it\'s a very large piece that smooths out the exhaust flow prior to reaching the 3.5\" constant piping...

Due to the Cobb AP...no CEL issues, no boost creep (I\'ve never experienced it here in Hawaii with all the different header/dp/exhaust combo\'s I\'ve tried) so far but I have not gone wide open due to safety reasons...all I know is that the seat of my pants and my ears are telling me that this was a nice upgrade...
