Pros: Excellent cleaner w/high gloss. Great value.
Cons: none

I have used this remarkable product for at least 15 years. The product has remained unchanged, but has appeared with at least three different brand names. Previously, and still in some parts of the U.S., it is labeled as “Westley’s Concentrate” and until ten years or a little longer ago it was marketed as “Rain Dance.”
Whatever it has been called in the past, Blue Coral High Foam Car Wash Concentrate is an extremely fine product and may be purchased inexpensively in stores like Walgreens, Rite Aid, Long’s Drugs, etc.
The secret is to use it right. Use about one ounce of the product to a bucket of water, using a garden hose nozzle to make two or three inches of foam on top of the solution. Keep product foamy to disperse polymer coating onto your wash cloth. Slosh it on one section at a time, starting from the top of the car and working down. Wash one section at a time, rinse off all of the suds and use a dry or damp cotton towel to wipe off most of the moisture. Use a second, DRY towel to buff the area dry. Then do the next section. Never leaves water marks if you dry it off. Very high gloss all of its own, even better on waxed surfaces.
Blue Coral High Foam Car Wash Concentrate will not strip off wax, so I use it to wash between waxes with Meguiar’s products. It’s not much better than soapy water alone at taking off bugs, but does a good job on road tar and does an excellent job removing general dust and road grime. Very effective for cleaning brake dust from wheels.
This is a sophisticated product that shines by leaving a polymer coating behind. It’s so durable and beads water so well it’s the only exterior cleaner I use on my boat! Cleans and preserves unpainted plastics. Use to clean and protect anodized finishes like wiper arms. Wash anodized surfaces gently then rinse off product without further buffing or drying.
Super value and excellent performance.
