This is the last step (Step Three) in the Meguiar’s Deep Crystal System. This is an extremely high gloss carnauba wax product that is very easy to apply. Carnauba is the best wax you can get for dark-colored paints, especially black. Be advised that carnauba wax is a natural product and will turn yellow in time, so I don’t recommend it for very light colors (unless it’s yellow or orange). The yellowing is not an issue with darker colors.
If you have followed Meguiar’s directions to the letter and are using this product as the last step in the three-step Deep Crystal System, you will be rewarded with paint that looks much better than new. Subaru paint and clear coat is a little thin to help save weight on their faster cars. The Deep Crystal System will make Subaru clear coat look thicker and deeper and will emphasize the metal-flake colors in the paint. It will take you the better part of a weekend to do the entire Subie. Or, do it section by section over a week or two. Either way, your hard work will be rewarded with a beautiful, long-lasting finish. Use Steps 2 and 3 to maintain the finish, and wash with a good product that will not strip the wax. I recommend Blue Coral High Foam Car Wash Concentrate between waxes.

This 3 step process is very effective. It will make your car incredibly clean and will also help out the meager paint on most Subarus
