Pros:
Nicely made product at a decent price. Looks good with fog lights off or on.
Cons:
Silly installation instructions for permanent mounting (I didn\'t follow these instructions). Cadmium plated fasteners.
I would have given the Grillcraft Fog Lamp Grilles a 10 rating. The grilles (I bought the black powder coated finish) are very well-made, provide good protection for the fog lamps and fit perfectly.
But, there are two drawbacks. The installation instructions suggest permanent mounting (can\'t clean the fog lamps) and the fasteners (screws and u-clamps) are cheap cadmium plated stuff.
I replaced the fasters with stainless steel and reversed the mounting tab screw to make an easily removeable and replaceable installation. You can find my instructions for doing this here in the i-club \"Impreza Interior, Exterior & Lighting\" forum. Search for Grillcraft there and you\'ll find it.
So I\'d give the Grillcraft Fog Lamp Grilles a 10, as I have them installed. Snug-fitting, they look good, and folks passing by tend to take a close look at them.
