Description: Having used and assisted in the development of several Top Mounted Intercoolers currently available for the STI, we can safely say there are several very good units available on the market. However, in our typical style we feel that some simple yet critical improvements can be made to optimize the design. As most camps are focused on how big of a core they can shove under the hood, some very critical design features have been neglected.

Our intercooler design is based on some "out-of-the-box" thinking in how to best configure the intercooler as a SYSTEM. The end result is a very unique design that provides the features people want (BIG core) while maintaining the criteria us engineer and tuner types worry about (effeciency, flow rates, pressure drop, etc).

Unlike all other designs that retain the factory "y-pipe" inlet configuration, we utilize an entirely new "fan" configurations featuring internal fins that help direct air flow evenly across the core. By doing so, we're able to get 90% even usage of our core instead of the 55-65% coverage when using the factory dual entry y-pipe configuration. This was done so that we could offer an intercooler that not only had a large core but actually USED it.

Developed fully in CAD and based on real-world mock ups, we are currently working with our local foundries and tool makers to get our endtanks into production. The tooling and casting process can take several months before production parts are released but we'll continue to push as hard as we can to bring our unique design to market.

Vital stats: 19.6" wide, 8" tall, 4.5" thick bar and plate core. Offers the LARGEST surface area at 156.8 in^2 and the LARGEST core volume of 705.6 in^3.
