Owner Adam Levy started Levy's Innovations & Conversions (LIC) Motorsports in February 2004 at our present location. Adam is and has been an active member in the Subaru cummunity for many years now and was formerly a partner with I-Speed USA. While at I-Speed USA, Adam did the custom conversions that are so well known throughout the Subaru community.
LIC Motorsports works closely with our vendors to get our customers the best deal on parts and most efficient service. We work with vendors such as SubyDude, I-Speed USA, i-Club.com, Jay's Kustom Exhaust & Mufflers, and Novato Auto Machine.

EDIT: just got my 30K service done, Adam was very fast, checked everything out to make sure my car was doing good, even fixed my half complete steering rack bushing install and install rear diff bushings for me!
I now rock the LIC sticker on my car.

I picked up some used, custom powder coated yellow Rota Sub Zero rims on a Saturday morning for an excellent price! They even gave me some touch up paint!
Noah gave me some great tips for upgrading my car, and Adam told me about the right tire size to get for my wagon.
I plan on buying from them again!

Had a Helix up pipe I didn\'t even buy from them installed, \'Next time I will\', and also a egt probe wich they set outside of #4. Clean work done right with extras thrown in like checking all cables wires hoses for loosness and so on. Made solid suggestions for simple mods and didn\'t laugh to much at some of mine. Theyre goofy but smart too. Their shop is fun! if you can find it!

I have known Adam for about 2 years now and he has been working on my WRX before LIC was opened. The Quality of work is exceptional, Adam has done about 5 different exhaust installs on my car, Clutch and Flywheel Job, wired up my JDM headlights, Wheelbearings, Tune ups, Stoptech brake install, and countless other installs. I have never had a problem with his work and everything is nicely done and cleanly installed (no wonder his nickname is mcgyver)he is also very honorable, and stands by his work. Thier Customer service is TOP NOTCH, the shop manager Noah Adam\'s younger brother is one of the most friendliest in the business who has helped LIC along. I did my senior project there for my school, and i have watched many cars come and go through and never has there been a problem and everyone comes out with a smile and running car which is faster or basically running... Thier prices are fair and they stand by them. An example would be my clutch install. My Tranny would not budge and they gave me a flat rate for i believe 7 hours of work, the install took damn near 10 and i still paid only for the 7, where adam stayed way past closing to finish the Job and of course it was flawless. One of the best part of LIC is its friendly atmosphere being there for just an hour and you will see as many as 3 subys roll by the shop just to say hello and usually you get into a conversation with one of them, and before you know it your car is done, besides thier DVD player flatscreen TV, waiting for your car is almost as fun as driving your car once they have installed your exhaust, turbo, clutch etc.
This may seem like a biased review, well it is not, i have been to 3 differnent shops in the bay and LIC is by far my favorite and i will get my suby worked on there for as long as i own the car....
I recommend this shop to anyone who wants fair prices that you actually get what you pay for and want a nice atmosphere to kick back and relax while waiting for your car....

Adam and Noah are great guys to deal with. You can come to them with anything and they can get it done for you, exactly the way you want it to be done. Brakes, exhaust, suspension, turbos, even 30/60K servicing, anything, absolutely top notch work...extremely thorough and accurate. Thanks guys for the Brembo install. If all goes well, I\'ll be asking you soon for a time to do my conversion....hehe.

In freaking Novato.
I have had several emergency issues come up on my highly tuned car.
Adam and Noah have come through time and again to make my car right.
Adam\'s technical expertise is unsurpassed and Noah is both friendly and professional.
I have no complaints whatsoever about either service, workmanship or prices.
Very fair and knowledgeable, big thumbs up!

I took my newly purchased used 05 STi to Adam and Noah and asked them if they\'d suggest a full service to make sure everything was okay. Noah did a quick once-over and said everything was fine, didn\'t try to sell me anything. I had an oil change just to be safe. The guys have subsequently set my ride height and alignment after Gruppe-S put Tein Flex\'s on (Noah even cleaned the calipers when the wheels were off). They put my tow hitch on (took a while and they were very generous with their time). They are going to upgrade my brakes, install TBE and short-shifter. They give great advice, no BS and I know they are not trying to sell me something for the sake of it. Great guys.
