Description: The P Zero Nero (ne' ro - Italian for black) M+S Ultra High Performance All-Season tire was designed specifically for the North American market to provide cars with a sporty disposition, year-round traction and handling. The P Zero Nero M+S is built using the MIRS technology manufacturing process, Pirelli's most advanced tire design and production system. The P Zero Nero M+S is Pirelli's choice for drivers who want to drive their car through America's various weather conditions, including occasional light snow.

On the outside, the P Zero Nero M+S radial's silica-enhanced tread compound is blended to provide adhesive characteristics during high temperatures in the dry and low temperatures in the wet or snow. This compound is molded into an asymmetric tread design that features stable outside shoulder blocks combined with notched, continuous center ribs that increase footprint rigidity to enhance grip during acceleration and braking. Shoulder grooves and circumferential channels allow water to flow through the tread design to resist hydroplaning and enhance wet traction. On the inside, the P Zero Nero M+S features twin steel belts to provide strength and durability on top of a polyester cord body.

The P Zero Nero M+S Ultra High Performance All-Season tires feature black letters reversed out of a stylized serrated band. They are W-speed rated and are available in popular 50- through 35-series Euro-metric sizes to fit 16" through 19" diameter wheels.

Pros: GREAT OVERALL TIRE
Cons: Soft Sidewalls

Great set of tires. Cant afford 2 sets for summer and winter so i got these all season tires. Gotta admit. Loved it right away. only problem is that the sidewalls seem a little soft (when parked on a hill, my front tires looked like they were really low on air even with 38 psi in it already). then again, i got 225/45/17 on them. maybe a 40 sidewall would make it a lot stiffer. For an all season set of tires, LOVE IT!! Spectacular in the rain havent tried it in the snow yet.

other notes: 400 treadwear / traction AA / Temperature A / rated number one all season tire at tirerack.com

Pros: Price, All-Season(supposedly), Ride
Cons: None

I got the deal of a lifetime on these, I paid a fraction of the list price. I was thinking it was time to get a whole new suspension because the ride was so soft. With these installed on my stock 2000 GT Wagon it\'s like a brand new ride. Nice and firm. I am eccstatic.

Pros: awesome in wet and dry
Cons: price cause I am cheap. ;P

I have never had summer tires so I don\'t have anything to compare these to other then the RE92\'s which sucked badly.

These tires handle incredibly well in dry weather, they slip a bit when accelerating in a late apex turn, but this is partially due to the front wheel contact patch becoming smaller.

Otherwise, these tires ROCK!

Pros: Great Daily Drivers, predictable,
Cons: Tramline SLIGHTLY, squeal easily (though pirellis squeal a lot normally), soft sidewalls for a Zrated tire

I got 225/50/16s to fit on some stock 01 RS 6-spoke wheels, and these are so much better than the stock RE-92s. Though these do make noie very easily it\'s good because it tells you when you\'re reaching the limits.

It has a soft sidewall for a Z-rated tire, but that makes the ride softer and protects your wheels on daily drivers. With a 400 tread rating I expect great mileage on these tires.

Kinda strange that I find my car w/ Koni Yellows and Ground Control coil sleeves handles better with these in the rain than in dry.

Pros: Comfortable ride, ultra hi-performance all-season tire, good traction, nice styling.
Cons: Squeels a teeny tiny bit in corners...but nothing like Nittos I\\\'ve used in the past.

215/45ZR17

I just got these installed on my car this afternoon at America\'s Tire on Brokaw near Hwy 880. My JDM/UK-17s came with Bridgestone Potenza S-03 tires which were great tires, but a little stiff for my tastes. Especially with the rough roads we have in this part of San Jose. I wanted a little more of a comfortable ride (as comfortable as can be with a 215/45R17 tire can be), retain some good dry performance, and have the flexibility of hitting some snow on occasion. After reading many reviews I decided that the Pzero Nero M+S were the tire for me.

Once you enter the corner hard they might make a little squeel and slight dip into the corner but then they hook up and stick. After getting used to that initial bit softness, I am really liking these tires. The sidewalls are definitely softer than the hard Potenza S-03\'s I had before. But in my case, I\'ll gladly compromise with a little softness for a cushier ride, plus the traction is pretty good. They pretty much perform like people claim...I am going to love this tire.

I really like the styling and the fact that they are assymetric and can be rotated left and right as well as front and rear. I\'ve lived with directional tires for so long I\'ve forgotten what that is like. I\'ll continue to give long term feedback as I get more experience with the tires.

Pros: Excellent in the snow, great tread wear
Cons: Squeel as you enter a sharp turn

I picked up my set of P-Zero Nero\'s for the winter time, looking for something that would last my driving habits (which tend to not be kind to tires). I made 3 trips to Tahoe and was even caught in a blizzard. The tires are golden on snow, I was really amazed.

On dry tarmac they\'re f*cking awesome. Once you get past the squeel as you come in to a sharp corner, you\'re hooked to the ground and pulling through the turn.

As far as rain is concerned, don\'t worry. I hit puddles doing 75mph+ and didn\'t come off the road. Definitely a top rank tire.

Pros: Great tires, good price,
Cons: soft sidewall, squels during low speed turns

Put these on stock rims for some good ole fashion fun in the snow for winter time use. I was really suprised how it handles in the snow, rain. I highly recomend it for an all season tires.

Pros: Cheap price
Cons:

Have had a set of 245/20/18 mounted on Work Emotion on my STI and so far have enjoyed them. They do have a tendancy to squeel when entering corners. I bought them mainly for snow use but havent had a chance to try them out in the snow yet.

Pros: Great in the rain, and treadwear is second to none. Sidewall is stiff on these.
Cons: A little expensive.

These are a great street tire for all season and worth every penny. They perform better than I expected in dry weather and even better in the rain. I have had mine for two years now and 25,000 miles, still 5,000-10,000 left. The only reason they were a little pricey is that I have 18's. The sidewall on these are stiff and I always know if my tires are low or not.

Pros: Great grip for an M & S tire, no more winter tire switches
Cons: some squeaks at the limit on corners

215/45/17, paid $135 per tire at Wheel Works

I also got tired of switching out to a winter set of rims (stockers/blizzaks)....and since I only see occasional snow I decided to switch to an M & S tire. My old set were Dunlop's SP9000, which I liked, but they were a little harsh and noisy on commutes.

The P-Zero's are a little softer and I don't feel like I gave up too much grip. The treadwear should be better too, I'm expecting 30K miles instead of 20K for this set.

I would highly recommend this to anyone that commutes a bit, sees occasional snow, but still wants to carve some corners once in a while.
