These are the 17x7 aluminum wheels that come standard on all other WRX's around the world except the US domestic market cars which come with 16x6.5 wheels (which are standard on the RS2.5 in the rest of the world). They are available in silver, gunmetal, and gold. They weigh about 17lbs each.

Pros:
Factory wheel reliability and fitment
Cons:
None that I am aware of
I posted that I wanted these on the boards and worked out a partial trade for my factory 16\'s plus a little cash. The deal worked out very well for both parties, including shipping between California and Minnesota (where the UK 17\'s came from).
It\'s very nice having the extra rim width and the wider rubber. It makes the car handle sooo much better. I already like the looks of the factory 16\'s so it\'s nice having the same (similar) look wheel in a 17. I love them!
The previous owner had Bridgestone Potenza S03 tires in 215/45ZR17 (the factory size tire) and it is a good fit. Great tires, but my next set of tires have been changed to Pirelli Pzero Nero M+S in the same size so I can get some use in the mountains and other inclement weather also (not to mention a softer ride--I\'m getting old I guess).
