I have the slotted rotors and they are a great improvement over ones that came with my STI 4-pot upgrade kit. The directional wiper design that DBA has keeps the face of the rotor and the pad clean. Great rotor

Pros:
Great stopping, excellent weight balance, great looks, perfect OEM fit
Cons:
seem a little small in the rear configuration for an 02-03 WRX
I have the 4000 series for the rear of my 02 WRX, and these are a fantastic upgrade; every bit of them seems well-engineered. They are lighter than the stock rotors but have a bit more surface area and much, much more cooling capacity. I wish they were a bit bigger, but they are OEM replacements so there just isn't much metal to them (unlike a BBK-style upgrade)
