Description: Injen WRX Cold Air Intake System. This system replaces the stock intake airbox with a 2.5" polished aluminum pipe and high flow air filter. The filter is positioned below the fender and behind the front facia where it can ingest plenty of cool air.

The stock BOV sounds really great with this intake. Ths install can be a pain if it happens that ou can't get it into the fender very easy.

Pros: looks/sounds great, cooler intake
Cons: difficult installation, make sure you\'ve tuned for it!

This intake draws air from the passenger side fender. Assuming you\'ve got the nifty cover for the old airbox locaion out of an RS, the fender should be much cooler than the engine bay where short-ram intakes draw their air from.

The drawback to the fender location is the potential for water to get into the intake (so no fording creek, okay!) and the installation difficulty. I had a hard time rotating the intake around to weasel it into position and actually scratched mine on the coolant tank. Make sure to take your time with the install!

This unit uses the stock MAF sensor, and has the same diameter piping as the stock unit, so it technically shouldn\'t screw up readings on a stock car. However, I would not install this without getting the car dyno tuned for it. The potential for leaning out things unintentionally is too great.

So I give this a qualified \"recommend\": make sure you tune for it!

Pros: Sounds great, cold air, no cel, CARB legal
Cons:

Took a little bit to install with 1 person but well worth the time. I have the wagon version and it fits good. It has a splash guard so I\'m not worried about standing water unless it\'s deeper than 8 inches. My car was tuned soon after installation so I wouldn\'t have to worry about leaning issues. I highly recommend this intake.

Pros: Awesome look, Improves Turbo Spool up, Hearing your turbo and bov
Cons: It needs to be tuned with ecutek to work best

I have the Injen 1201 STI Injen CAI. All of a sudden my midrange is more powerful, and you can hear my stock bov(sounds like its aftermarket now). Get it tuned with ecutek or protuner, so your AF mixture will be right on.

Pros: matches STI engine perfectly, great sound
Cons: none

Great product for the money. Increased HP with the tune on my STI. I have the red one as well which matches the engine bay very nicely and actually looks stock.

Pros: fits nicely, looks good as well
Cons: sucks up hot engine air like most short rams

i actually have the Injen Short Ram and not the cold air intake but this product is excellent. honestly, i\'d rather have the stock airbox but since i have the injen fmic i needed to get the short ram as well. it does it\'s job so i can\'t complain, plus like many other short rams, it makes that nice \'whooooosh\' sound.

Pros: Turbo sound
Cons:

Came with the car. Never had problems with it. Just afraid of flooded areas.
