Bought second hand from a friend for an astonishingly low price of $100 bucks. This e-bay basic catback is what you get when you don’t care about name brands and just want a simple catback that performs. I have this on my 03 WRX with a stock downpipe. I really love the way it sounds. In Reno, Nv we have close knit Subaru group that meets weekly. Everyone in the group also agrees this is a pretty sweet sounding catback. From a performance aspect I can attain to the fact that on a stock WRX this gave 7 HP to the wheels, with full torque coming 250rpms sooner! This was on the Dyno at S-Squared Motorsports. I will admit it looks a little ricey but with some decent mag polish you can save a little face. This picture is a bit decieving, the build quality is not F1 but it’s awesome for $100.

Well like I listed above it is a great bargain. It sounds great. I think it is an N1 style exhaust, so it can be loud but I don\'t have a downpipe so that holds it back a lot.

Cons:
ok fitment
sounds great. even more so with a 3 inch downpipe. it\'s really deep down low, and loud throughout the rest of the powerband. seems to resonate a bit in the top end though.
fitment is a tad off, and the muffler is angled ever so slightly to the center of the car. but barely noticeable. it rattles on the diff protector .......no big deal. it can be removed.
the only real downfall to this exhaust is the fact that it was meant for use with the stock downpipe, so it has about 4 inches of 2.5 (?) inch piping from the midpipe flange, but then turns into 3 inches for the rest. but, a good muffler shop can take care of that!!!
overall a good exhaust for the money, me and a buddy both have it and get compliments from everyone. i like it alot.
