These replacement struts are 20% stiffer than stock according to KYB. They dramatically improved handling on my 1993 Legacy Turbo wagon. I also installed these in my wife's 2000 RS. They are a great alternative to the AGX as they are non-adjustable and significantly cheaper. I had previously run AGX's on my wife's RS and found that I never adjusted them. When one of those struts blew, I replaced them with GR2's and couldn't be happier.
These are great, inexpensive struts from the same company that supplies the OEM struts for Subaru.

Pros:
Stiffer damping than stock
Cons:
none
I\'ve had mine installed with STi RA springs for well over a year, and they seem to be holding up nicely.

Pros:
stiffer than stock but not too ridged
Cons:
fitmett issues with whiteline springs
They gave the car a positive more responcive feel. Stiffend up the steering without sacraficing too much comfort. Whiteline springs dont seem to sit right on them under no load but once some body weight is on them they seem to seat correctly, I have had no issues thus far.

Pros:
Stiffer than stock, not too stiff.
Cons:
Strut locations not marked, More NVH.
These are way better than the stock struts, my wrx literally has no body roll now. Noise, vibration and harshness is substantially increased (I've noticed a few annoying rattles that I'm still trying to figure out). Make sure you use the rubber grommets from the stock rear struts that go in between the bottom of the spring and the strut mount.
