This is a steel guard designed to protect the rear differential from rock/road damage. It is black (painted?) and installs in about ten or fifteen minutes. If you do a lot of gravel/dirt driving this is well worth the peace of mind.

Pros:
Protects the Diff from stuff...
Cons:
I don\'t go off the beaten path enough
Came on my car when I got it, took it off after a while because I do about 99% on road driving and didn\'t think the extra 8lbs was needed.
