Description: The BF series gauges are considered by some to be top of the line gauges. Clear, crisp read outs and smooth displays. A very unique start up and shut down sequence and the icing to the cake. Highly recommeded.

Pros: Cool factor, very accurate stepper motors
Cons: Expensive, no SAE units

I have the Boost Starter Kit that includes a 60mm BF Boost gauge and the Defi Control Unit v2.

The control unit allows the recording and display of up to three minutes of sensor readings. Gauges also record peak values, and have warning lights.

The BF gauges have a start-up/shut-down sequence similar to the STi\'s gauges (in fact, Defi manufactures the STi\'s gauges IIRC).

Gauges use elecric sending units in the engine bay that communicate with the control unit. Guages are then daisy-chained off the control unit. Stepper motors in the gauges give very precice display. There are also optional heads-up and digital multi-displays!

The only thing I that sucks about the BF series is the lack of SAE unit gauges... only BAR on the boost gauge, and the only way to get Farenheight is to get the Defi-Display (digital readout). Plus these are some of the most expensive gauges out there!

In short, these gauges are pure sex! But you certainly pay for them!

Pros: Perfect match for STI stock guages
Cons: NONE!!

I got the BF series red so its a perfect mach for the STI interior. This item looks great and performs the same. I got the egt, boost, and oil pressure package when I ordered mine. Installation is a breeze granted you know what you are doing. Instructions are very easy to follow.

Pros: Beautiful and of the highest quality and functionality
Cons: Expensive

Highly recommended as a first mod (boost gauge). Installed the Amber on the steering column; it matched the STI dash perfectly! The control unit is also very useful, and allows me track my maximum boost level (which is 21psi with boost creep ), and also has a warning beep when the maximum selected boost threshold has been reached. Perfect choice for a mod.
