I went down to five star to check out the subies for the first time. I didn\'t know any more than what I had read really and was not ready to buy that night. I thought that was clear but apparently the finance manager didn\'t think so. The sales person was nice and wasn\'t hassling at all (which is the only reason I didn\'t rate this shop a 1), but the 2nd person I talked to was basically trying to guilt-trip me into buying the car. Saying things like \"we\'re doing you a favor getting you this financing\" and \"why not close the sale since we\'ve been here so long\".
I was totally turned off by this shop and would never go back.
I later went to Waialae Subaru and then Kaneohe Subaru and had a completely different experience.

It\'s a mixed review with them in my opinion. They were my second stop in buying a car. When they thought I was going to close the deal they were the most helpful of people, but once I told them I needed time to consider my decision and talk it over with my family then they got pushy. They just tried to make me feel like I was losing out on something if I didn\'t buy a car on the spot. As if they\'re the \'ONLY\' subaru dealership in hawaii. They are good, if you know for sure you want to buy a car.

its funny cuz for me, they werent in control, my mother and i was. my moms a good sales person so we worked them. i only went there cuz my bro knew the owner of 5 star; otherwise i would of gone to waipahu. (sorry greg, didnt know you at the time) anyways, they will try to push you into getting it. but make them wait. took me 2 sundays to finally get my 04 w/ premium for 23k. not too shabby

if you guys think that five star subaru is pushy then ask for me russell and ill try to get you a good deal

I had a check in hand and saw 2 Legacy GTs, was auto though,..I waited for a salesman,..none came out,..So I took my time looking at car, sticker price etc,..
After 10 minutes I went inside to see 1 guy watching tv cruising and I asked him about the GT,..
He said it does 12s in the 1/4... After talking a bit, he didnt have the car I wanted, so he didnt get the $27k check in my wallet that night either,..

So far so good with this dealership. Paul helped out alot. They only had the WRB in stock and I was intrested in a white one. Paul check the incoming inventory and was able to put the white one on hold for me. Pretty good sales service so far. I\'ll put my rating in once I get the car.

Stole my rivets and replaced with zipties
|

Service was alirght but until I find out the rivets are missing from my undercarriage. Zipties were in place!!!!!!!!!!!! I was mad as hell. Never gone back for service again. My friends just help me out w/ the minor stuffs.
