Description: Octane-ZR components utilize absolute state-of-the-art materials including aluminum-plated polypropylene woofer cones, which are ultra-stiff for lightning quick, distortion-free bass, and flat linear roll spiders to reduce distortion at elevated volume levels. Butyl rubber surrounds offer unsurpassed damping ability and durability. The 25mm (1" parachute material silk dome tweeters offer incredible detail without even a hint of harshness and can be pivot, flush, or surface mounted for total flexibility. An audiophile grade 24 dB/octave outboard crossover completes this sweet-sounding package.

Pros: Great bang for the buck
Cons: Tweeters sound flat

I run these speaker off a 4x 75w amp. 6.5\" in the front 5.25\" in the rear (same component set). Personally don\'t like coaxials.

The 6.5\" fit great in the front with a 3/4\" mounting ring and the tweeters mount at the stock locations without any issues. They sound good (not great) and handle lots of power. I personally like the sharper tweeters by MB Quart, but this time around couldn\'t afford to go that route.

If you like smoother highs, the silk tweeter in this set is for you. I\'d personally take titanium tweeters though.
