Description: High Performance STREET Brakes for MY02 WRX/ RS
Fits stock calipers...Bobcat Brake pads are the newest of the Carbotech family high performance brake pads.

Front pads should last 20-30k miles on street driving.

Instant pad feel, no warm-up necessary.

Pros: better feel than stock, less pad fade, minimal dusting
Cons: umm -- they're red, and some people don't like red? some squealing

for $100, they're pretty hard to beat. Carbotech is one of the few companies that tooled up quickly for the minor change in the '02 to '03+ brake pads. once they're bedded in, they've got a lot more initial bite than stock and seem to resist fading better. the Carbotechs provide much better feel at the pedal than the stock pads, and actually dust less then the stockers as far as i can tell.

the only drawback i've foudn after 500+ miles of street driving and one auto-x event, is that the pads do squeal a bit, though not loud enough to be bothersome except with the stereo off. the only do it under really light braking, like when gently stopping at a stop sign, or in a parking lot. under strong braking, they're silent.

Pros: bites into the rotor a lot better than stock
Cons: a bit loud after some usage

Better than stock but I don\'t know how it compares to other aftermarket pads.

Pros: great improvement over stock
Cons: None

WAY better than stock. These pads provide a nice alternative for those of us unhappy with the stock brakes in WRX, but that are unable to afford a big break kit like StopTeck. Get these when your stockers go out, you\'ll thank me.

Pros: better pads, dont fade as much, they dont dust that much either
Cons: none

i had axis before these. theyre nice pads and id buy em over axis/hawk anyday. people say they squeal but they dont, they squeal because people dont seat the pad right. mines going on 20k miles and no squealing at all.
