Cons:

good extra storage, good arm rest for longer trips, but little flimsy, could be better built or maybe even part of the car instead of an option

Pros:
|
Comfortable armrest and good storage
|
|
Cons:
|
Uncomfortable for shifting, cheap and breakable design
|
|
The armrest does it\'s function well but gets in the way with shifting the manual transmission as I have long arms. Also the top handle on mine has broken off once but easily went back into place. It is needed for long trips but I fold it back for most driving.

What\'s there to say. I would get it as an option. extra storage, good place to rest you arm.
Gets in the way when shifting for some people. Cheap piece of crap. The clip always falls off.

I love this thing. Hold the extra crap I stick in my car...I\'m a clutter bug. On top of that it has a little clip on it that you can attach things like your insurance and registration.
It\'s a nice height to rest my arm on.
Only crapper is how poorly it\'s made. You put much weight on it at all and the clip just pops right out. It\'s easy enough to get back in, but how long is it gonna be before it\'s too wore down or broke to put back?
Why not use some metal in there to secure it?
Just not very well made. There are several areas subaru cuts corners or just doesn\'t think about things or try very hard on fit and finish.
I mean a stock VW that costs $10k less than my car has twice the fit and finish. One of the very FEW things I am not happy about with my car. They need to put more time into it.
