Description: These finely-crafted shift knobs from Kartboy are CNC-milled from a block of solid aluminum. You can choose from natural silver aluminum finish (comes with blue logo), or black (comes with red, yellow, and black logos). The knob threads right on the stock shaft, or any short shifter.

Pros: great ergonomics
Cons: gets hot

This is probably the best feeling (ergonomically speaking) knob I\'ve had. It also has the lip for the shift boot which is nice. Not many of the after market knobs have this.

The only problem is, it\'s like liquid hot magma when it gets hot... any metal is unacceptable for me now...

Pros: great feel, easy to clean! great look, cheap
Cons: insanely hot after parking in the sun making shifting painful for the next few minutes

I kno the heats what you get when you go metal, but it does get kinda annoying. Feels great, cant stress this enough. Also, I often have dirty hands and being so simple and metal its easy to clean. works well with my shifting boot

Pros: more stable feel on the shifter
Cons: gets REALLY hot in the sun

As the negitive aspects state, the shifter gets hot in the sun. That is to be expected from a metal shift knob but it did take me by suprise the first time I left the car in the sun. with that being said, I do like the shift knob, the round shape give a great feel for shifting.

Pros: Good Feel
Cons: Broken threads and won't tighten on Kartboy's own short shifter!

I'm using this knob with an actual Kartboy short shifter, so you THINK it would fit... Sadly, it does not. It never actually gets tight, and now it has cross-threaded and just comes loose at random. CRAP.

Pros: Looks better than stock, heavier than stock, has a collar for the shifter boot.
Cons: Doesn't match STi shifter trim or the silver dash trim.

Looks way better than the cheap looking wrx shift knob, the only gripe I have is that it doesn't match the shifter trim or the dach trim, the one I have is more of a darker titanium color.
