Description: If you don't have space for a full-size turbo timer, or if you just want that stealth install, go for this "built-in" turbo timer. It uses a factory-issue Subaru switch blank so installation is as easy as popping into any empty switch location in the dash or center console. The only indication that you have a turbo timer is the little switch. Operation is simple; you flip the switch to zero, one, or three minutes of turbo timing. That's all there is to it. A small electronic box holds the timer circuitry, and can be tucked away under the dash. The included instruction diagrams are annotated in Japanese, but the installation is not complicated if you get the WRX-specific turbo timer harness (see below).

Pros: simple installation, ease of use, stealthy package.
Cons: no instructions that would allow the user to make it compatable with the OEM alarm.

Installation is easy (with the Blitz Turbo Timer Wiring Harness (fits BITT) 00852 for another 25.00)
and the control mechanism is small and fits your standard Subaru blank. The unit has three modes of operation; off, 1 min run time, and three min run time. It is a very discreat unit which is why I chose it but you can not choose a custom run down time. I have not looked in to trying to get the factory keyless entry to function (lock the doors and set the alarm) with the turbo timer running but installed per the directions you will need to lock the doors manualy and you can not set your car alarm until the timer turns off the car. The Timer will shut off the motor if the parking brake is released though. The size of the unit does not allow for any digital information to be displayed. It is realitivly less expensive than many of the others avalible by about 25% and though you will need (probly) the harness, most other controllers require the purchase of one seperatly as well. If your running out of room it can be a good choice. I plan on finding out if there is a way to bypass the alarm to get it to arm with the motor running and will report back on what find soon.
