Santa Rosa Prestige Imports sales department: Examples of some of the lies I was told on the test drive: Your really lucky that we have these on the lot, they are almost impossible to get. The AT WRX does not have any more turbo lag then a MT. The WRXs brakes are better then any other car on the road. When I sat down with him he started off with: now when it comes to options, do you want power locks and windows? (there standard)
What was he going to do next? Say that the tires are the best money can buy? And after all of this I was told that they could not give me a price quote because I would not buy one that day. I did not buy from them.
Service department: It took three trips for them to fix my factory gauge pack, they guarantee to fix it right the first time. When I complained about it I was treated with complete disrespect.
I will never go to them again for any reason.

I can only speak for the sales department I tried to deal with when purchasing my 02 WRX.
Having said that , the sales department , with their holier than thow attitude and the extremely slimey used car trade in boss were very uncomfortable to deal with and very unwilling to meet my needs. I asked for 11k for a 96 dodge 2500 diesel with no balance and 50k miles. (k bucks was all he could do for me and the bastard showed me the door.
I called Marin Subaru on a whim and told him what happened , Mr Tintoc (sp?) told me he had a silver one in stock and blue booked my truck over the phone for an idea. I would have paid 1k more to him than 1k less to prestige just for how I was treated.
Got what I wanted for my truck , paid less for the car and got the TI shift knob to boot!
I must have done ten laps with my middle finger out in front of prestige that day.
I luv my Suby , i dislike prestige.

I, unfortunately purchased my car at prestige. it took forever to get the price i wanted, the salesman had to keep running back to his manager to "see what he could do". the purchase wasn't even the worst part. I am only 19 and every time i go in to get my car serviced they treat my like i am dirt. Tim, the service manager is a total a$$ to me whenever i have any sort of problem to ask him aobut. I would never buy from Prestige again, nor should you!

i live in SR and i tried buying a car from them i went to marin subaru for the same car with exact options prestige wanted 30,000 not otd and marin wanted 26000 otd. so i bought the car from marin and went to prestige and shoved the sales receipt in their face

Pros:
its around the corner from my house, the parts department is good
Cons:
bad service and sales
I bought my subie there, they gave me way more than my pos trade in was worth (suckers didnt test drive it and the OD in the trans was shot!!!)
its a pain to get a service appt
they wash your car when they service it and always scratch the crap out of your paint
but the parts department is always helpfull and a pleasure to deal with
