The Perrin inlet hose features a full 3-inch diameter silicone hose, which gradually tapers to the 2 1/4-inch turbo inlet diameter. The smooth 3-inch profile is maintained through all bends increasing air velocity and volume.
Because of the flexibility of silicone the corrugation in the center of the stock inlet pipe is not needed. The now smoother inner surface further increases air velocity and horsepower.

Pros:
Looks nice
Cons:
PITFA to install
Well built hose, however, on the 2004 WRX there is an allen key that holds the original hose in place that is impossible to get to. Once that was out, the new one slipped in with some elbow grease. The t-fitting and hose that come with it are a little ambiguous as to wehre they go, I'd contact someone who has done the install asn question them. No reall HP gains noticed.
