Description: The PE 1820 Turbo is a high-performance turbo developed by Power Enterprise. This turbo uses IHI turbine & compressor housings and incorporates PE's custom twin-ball bearing center cartridge. This design allows the turbo to be capable of over 440 HP (~360 whp). The PE1820 is well suited as a race turbo. This turbo features a P20 turbine housing which is larger than the PE1818's P18 turbine housing. Although the larger housing induces more lag than the PE1818, the true benefits of the PE1820 is the significantly increased power output levels at 21 PSI range. This turbo is an excellent choice for customers who are seeking a high power turbo race turbo. This turbo is a direct bolt-on for all GC8, GDA, GDB EJ20 turbo engines.

Pros: It hits like a HAMMER
Cons: Slow to spool

Like everyone will tell you, this is one of the slower spooling turbos, but those that have felt the power of a properly tuned 1820 know that this baby is a MONSTER. If your looking for big power numbers (for drag or track) this is the only way to go. I bought mine used at approx 5k miles, ran it for about another 10k, sold it, and the turbo is still as strong as the day it was bought! If I get another WRX, this is the only way I\'d go.

Pros: Great horsepower potential, spool is smoother than vf34 I had
Cons: Does reach full song till about 4000 RPM, needed bigger injectors

Love this turbo and cant wait till I get the injectors put in.
