Description: The BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW-2 ("KDW" for Key feature: Dry and Wet traction, the “2” is our addition identifying that this is the second generation g-Force T/A KDW is the Ultra High Performance summer tire that was developed to provide blend a dramatic-looking, ultra high performance tread design with superior dry and wet road performance. The BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW-2 is available in sizes for drivers of the world's hottest sports cars, coupes, sedans and light trucks.

The g-Force T/A KDW-2 features large tread blocks to enhance dry road stability, handling and wear under high torque loads, while rounded shoulder profiles help provide feedback for the driver communicating the tire's progressive and predictable characteristics as they reach their limits of adhesion. A silica-reinforced tread compound with wide circumferential and lateral grooves form a directional tread design to speed water evacuation, improve wet traction and reduce the risk of hydroplaning. This basic tread design technology is shared with the g-Force T/A radial racing rain tires used in the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) Trans Am Series. Internally, the twin steel belts are reinforced by BFGoodrich's ETEC (Equal TEnsion Containment) System which uses spirally-wound nylon strips to provide excellent strength, consistent footprint pressure and maximum contact area under Y-speed rated conditions while it reduces weight and helps provide more uniform ride quality. The g-Force T/A KDW-2 tires feature g-Control sidewall inserts to resist deflection and generate cornering force while rim protector ribs help protect alloy wheels from curb damage.

The g-Force T/A KDW-2 tires feature subtle black letter styling and will initially be available in selected sizes., Sizes will expand throughout the year to include 60-, 55-, 50-, 45-, 40- and 35-series, V- and Z-speed rated sizes for 17" to 24" wheel diameters.

Pros: Great wet weather tire, pretty quite, cool tread pattern
Cons: soft side wall, may not be suitable for track use

When I 1st purchased these tires I loved them. Great street performance, smooth, pretty quite, nice street grip, and great in the rain.

For track use you may have to increase the tire pressure due to a softer side wall. I think the KD's have the better side wall and better dry performance but not as good in the wet.

Over all a nice tire and they cost less than S-03's, but not as much grip.

Pros: Great look, grip, price
Cons:

the tires are great, sonce I've had them I've not had a problem with grip whatsoever. For the price, I really don't think you could get a better tire

Pros: Great wet grip, and great dry drip
Cons: noisy

These are by far the best street tires I have ever driven on. The wet grip is amazing. Going 130 MPH in pouring rain was not even challenging with these. I\'ve never even hydroplaned with these tires. The only downfall is they are noisy, and they tend to make a lot of noise when breaking traction, so it it hard to be descrete with these tires. They also have lasted over 15k miles of very hard driving and 3 track days.

The system is corrupt; therefore, we must fight the system.

Pros: excellent handling, look, price, and comments
Cons: noiser than stock, exhaust will solve that

These tires are in my own opinion the best tires you can get for the price. well worth the money paid. from the no more squealing around turns to the agressive and mean looking tread pattern from behind, these are great tires.

only down side was that they are a little noisy, but an aftermarket exhaust will cover that noise.

Pros: cheapish, readily available, great wet/street tire
Cons: not the best dry traction, cycled out in 10,000 miles

After getting used to the stiff sidewalls and great grip of the stockers (RE 070) these leave something to be desired in terms of dry grip. 070\'s wore out in 9K, these wore out in 10K. After too many heat cycles these tires lose a lot of their grip even though they still have good tread depth. They are teh suk for auto-x (obviously.) Howl like banshees, even at 38+ psi. HOWEVER for a daily driven tire in moist climate they work very well. Where the 070\'s were unpredictable and scary these cut on through. Very little hydroplaning, low road noise, and a relatively soft ride. If you drive in the rain you will enjoy these tires. If you have a high horsepower car or you like to drive primarily in the dry, don\'t bother with these.
